make believe cake in my stomach

Imagine this, Hot Hot water being dumped on your head after swimming in the cold ocean at 11 o clock in the morning. Yes my droogies, i was introduced to this amazing new tactic thanks to the brainchild of the very stupendous James. I would have to say that its better than showering at home because,
  1. You don't know if the water in the jug is hot or cold
  2. So you really have to trust the person who's pouring it on you
  3. Its not like your going from room temperature to hot water... Your going from freezing cold water, to windy cool air, to HOT HOT fresh water streaming onto your face and down your body with no cool air possibly slipping through like showers do.
  4. You've washed all the salt off your body through an enjoyable process.
Remember to put your water jug in a bucket.

Story time: While enjoying a cup of chai tea latte at Vinaka, an old man tried to fool us by telling us that he saw a 10 dollar bill flutter off th
e edge of where we were sitting. Little did he know, I knew there was no 10 dollar bill. We left anyways. I think he wanted our seats in the sun. Apparently he was winking at James while i looked over the edge. Well i was winking to myself. I knew what was going on all along. Anyways, this gave me a chance to make a wish at t
he fountain. Im not sure what wish the stripling made, but he made two of them worth 50 cents so they must have been good. I made one worth 25 cents and one worth a copper penny.
My 25 cent wish was for a big piece of cake to be waiting for me on the table when i got home.
I was thinking more along the lines of this:

But then i saw this: a fortress of chocolate containing a delicate serving of even more chocolate, strawberries, grapes and some cute tiny flowers.

i knew it would be pretty far-fetched so thats why i made it 25 cents. Im also only revealing this wish because i already said it out loud. My copper penny wish has not been revealed, because it COULD come true. I definitely do not want to screw this one up by blurting it out loud. Not to mention it would probably be a mistake if i did. Or would it? Im not sure so ill tell you if it comes true. Actually i probably wont because ill be way too stoked on life.

First rate green Doc Martins

To those who don't have the dinero for the expensive clothing, I would like to share with you Gomatta Girls. This website is similar to those such as Whiskey Militia, which displays one product at a time until it sells out. Although with Gomatta you will often have a selection from one designer or a few, and because of the mind-blowing and marvelous clothing/jewelry/products, and the jaw-dropping prices, they often sell out very quick...
Ladies, strap on your doc martins. Its black friday everyday at Gomatta.

Crescendolls

WOW i never thought i would ever be into figurines in my life...
but take a look at this..

You heard me, Limited edition 5555 figures. I don't really know what i would do with them...
But if i were to do what i would think what you were suppose do with figurines, i would set them up next to my record player. Who am i kidding, i would carry them with me everywhere i go and show them off to everyone. They will be passed down from generation to generation.

Extreme Shark vs Rape Raptor

I've got a nasty case of the insomnia so i figure if i post a few photos from the 80 plus weather we recently had here in Southern California,
in the month of april, in the year of 2009,
i will be able to get some sleep?

Who won the fight in Extreme Shark vs Rape Raptor?
The two titles they are competing for are Ridiculous and Awesome.
Its a tie.

Purely Santa Cruz

Alright friends, you've been waiting for the full story on Santa Cruz correct?
WELL HERE IT IS!!!

DAY ONE

We left at 4 a.m. and after we drove through L.A. with literally trash raining on us, we approached the dirty country with the first signs of sunrise!

We were afraid that the dark blanket of clouds that veiled our what should have been blue country sky, would keep us from seeing the sun rise after three hours of darkness.
But what do you know! We ended up watching the sun rise through a break in the clouds.

Puffy clouds, to the west

I think this right after going through the Grapevine

Oh yes, i drove all the way there :)

And drove...

And ended up not staying on the 5 because of being slightly
 distracted by other things...

It was worth the detour though.
Im pretty sure we drove through the land of cherries
We passed two of these little cherry stands.
After the first attempt, James snapped the shot and the
photo came out exactly how i had
pictured it :)

We had finally arrived to Santa Cruz! We were greeted by two friends of mine, Krista and Taylor who were currently residing in an old church with 11 other people.
My good friend Merv arrived shortly after we got to there.
We decided to take a walk down to the boardwalk.
a few "errands" had to be run, and another Santa Cruz friend
jumped on the bandwagon!

We had to wait for her for a bit but thats alright!
Photo op with Merv!

Shootin' the shat.

Robo niko boto in acionato.

Straightening out that back.

The Boardwalk!!!!

6 tickets : Fireball

Waiting for our turn on the Fireball. Unfortunately,
someone with a weak stomach had to ruin it for us and
puke their brains out resulting in
the sutting down of the ride.
:(

So we got ice cream!
I got a chocolate covered banana with nuts.
They didn't have rainbow sprinkles.

We finally got to ride the ride and the guy running the ride
let us ride it for such a long time!
And no one ralphed!

"We rode the Fireball!"
:D

Smokey window craziness.

DAY TWO

This actually happens right before the photo with a yellow rose.
James getting DOWN on that sandwich.
Only the highest quality for our sandwiches.

You cant see it but these are hobbit huts.
I think they were called hobbit huts.. or was it forts?
Anyways, forts made of a bunch of branches lodged between trees.

Huge tree that you climb.
I started to climb it, but decided not to go all the way.
Next time i will though.

The trail that The Awesome Michael Chunka took us on after
venturing through the forest.

"When i was a young girl trying to find my way above the tree tops...
the tree tops, the tree TOo0O0ops"

"I did not care, I did not care what they called me,
what they called me"

Trail leading to meadow.

I spy campus through the trees.
I think this is after an epic journey to the ground, made
by a human-being climbing trees.
I was very impressed... :)

We had to kill some time, so we once again headed down to the boardwalk.

Couldn't pass up on this one.
Those hands are small and chubby!

The best ice cream ever.
I had never had such an amazing swirl of ice cream touch my
taste buds in my entire life..

The wind was blowing so hard,
we had to sit with our backs facing the wind.
It was pretty difficult keeping the ice cream clean
of sand.

On the way to the grassy knoll, we passed a few deers just chillin', eating grass like nobody's business.

"Tall grass means ticks"

From the mountains to the ocean...

DAY THREE
Goodbye Santa Cruz

Taking a last look at my collection from L.A. to Santa Cruz.

Con-trail in the sky.
Not to be confused with Chem-trail.

This cemetery was packed full with tombstones.
(Look further into the background)

Hand and my shirt.
Im not sure..
But i like it.

A few photos taken by both James and I on the way down.
The way down on the 1.

I am infatuated with the entire coast of Big Sur.
I especially find the rock formations
in the water..
amazing.

Take a look. My 30 dollar parking violation.
Which i will be paying tonight.

PT Cruisers always ruin everything.
Or do they make it?
No they ruin it.

Im not sure what's going on... but whatever it was..
It was good.

One of the lovely cobble stone walls.

Elephant seal beach.

It was REALLY REALLY windy.

Complete chaos trying to get back to the car.
Im telling you.. it was REALLY windy.

It was an amazing trip.
With amazing people.
